The Starcut Diagram was an essential design in antiquity, used to calculate and create the underlying ground plans of countless sacred spaces.Its geometry also holds a beautiful musical secret. If one were to turn all the straight lines in the Starcut Diagram into guitar strings, or harp strings, the difference in their lengths alone would be enough to generate the musical tones of the Diatonic (or 7 note) scale. How fascinating!The Starcut Cube Pendant ships with cord, socket and bulb, and is available with your choice of an old-school Edison bulb, or a dimmable Halogen bulb, with dimmer. The old-school Edison bulb is pictured in the images, and casts a warm orange light with diffuse shadows. The Halogen bulb casts a whiter light, with crisp shadows. The choice is yours.
