The dodecahedron has always been the most mysterious of the 5 Platonic Solids.  For the ancients, as for NASA in the modern era, it describes the shape of the universe itself.  It also creates the underlying geometry of the braiding of our DNA.  Governed by the Golden Ratio (1:1.618), the dodecahedron enshrines the essential proportion of all living systems.

Inspired by the geometry of living forms, this pendant is ornamented in a vegetal pattern that illustrates a small fractal dodecahedron on each of its faces.  These shadows are cast on all surrounding surfaces.
